Home Birth Support
This option is for families seeking experienced community midwifery support for a planned home birth, and includes attentive, personalized care through pregnancy, birth, and the first eight weeks postpartum. The majority of the prenatal visits are conducted in Glen Rock, PA, but prenatal home visits are offered as well. All postpartum care is done in the family’s home unless an office visit is preferred. Lab testing and referrals to other providers offered / recommended as indicated.
Wrap-Around Care
This service is specifically for families who are planning a hospital birth, but who desire the intimacy and continuity of community midwifery care through pregnancy and during the first 8 weeks postpartum. All routine prenatal and postpartum visits from 10-12 weeks gestation to 8 weeks postpartum are included, as well as three sessions of maternal bodywork between 12 weeks and 6 months postpartum. If you are interested in having one of our team join you in the hospital to offer doula support through labor or during/after cesarean birth, please let us know and we will discuss how to facilitate this option.
Comprehensive Fertility Support & Well Woman Care
Trying to conceive? In-depth holistic support is offered to couples experiencing challenges with conception and/or couples seeking to improve their health prior to pregnancy. Please reach out for a consultation call to see if this kind of care might be the right fit for you.
Well-woman visits at any age and stage of life are offered as well.
Miscarriage & Pregnancy Loss
Miscarriage support or care through loss is covered by Heidi’s Hands Gift Fund and offered to families in the community at no charge. Includes in-home midwifery services, facilitation of medical care with local providers as appropriate, grief care, bodywork, and referral for other beneficial services.
